While I may not have been blogging much, I have continued to paint. Here are a few of my recent works.
These wet pebbles were for our “Going Coastal” assignment on Free your Art.
and an enamel bowl and jug – this was an exercise on white on white – I really enjoyed it.
I also painted two wall murals at two under-privileged schools for a charity which does really great work with the schools on raising awareness of our ecology and ecosystems and also running food gardens at the schools
I love those murals!

Brilliant Jax! You know I love your pebbles coz I voted for you in the challenge, and I think your enamel bowl and jug are just perfect – so realistic. What I love about your murals is their simplicity, because it’s for kids. It shows just how talented you are that you can keep it simple and be an absolute perfectionist. Did you ever put your tree art challenge painting on your blog, you should! Col & I loved it so much, totally different technique again but so effective and beautiful!!

You have given me an excellent idea for conservation education (Rivers) on their school wall for a primary school we are helping in Durbs by the sea. Groot Jakkals, jy is clever.
